Kai

A young man from Ragu Village. He struggles daily to survive in endless battles against demi-humans. As a mere foot soldier, Kai often goes hungry and trains relentlessly to grow stronger in order to survive. During one battle, a forgotten memory suddenly awakens, granting him an inexplicable power. From then on, he gradually gains new abilities and engages in fiercer battles with the demi-humans.

Jose
Voiced by: Kana Hanazawa
The only daughter of the lord of Ragu Village. She trains alone, determined to fight for her village, but is rejected by her father and older brother, who believe she has no need to fight. While they are unaware, she continues her training and discovers Kai’s secret, deciding to train alongside him. She is also a “Blessed One,” bearing the power of the land deity.

Orha
Voiced by: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka
The son of the lord of Ragu Village and a Blessed One. He prioritizes his family’s honor over the villagers’ welfare. Overconfident in his own strength, he often ignores the advice of those around him.

Vegin
Voiced by: Atsushi Miyauchi
The lord of Ragu Village. A respected village chief and the father of Orha and Yoshie. He guards the village, aiming for its long-term prosperity, and is deeply loved by the villagers. He is also a powerful Blessed One, frequently participating in training and conducting mock battles with the village soldiers, though no one can defeat him.
