In a hidden realm where spirits dwell, the warmth of a single dish moves destiny. It’s a tale guided by “promises” and “bonds.”

A college student with the ability to see spirits, Aoi Tsubaki, is suddenly kidnapped and taken to Tenjin-ya, a long-established inn in the Hidden Realm. She is burdened with a massive debt left by her grandfather and a “promise” made in the Hidden Realm. To settle the debt, she is pressured to marry the inn’s master, an Ogre. However, Aoi rejects this fate. She decide to pay back the debt by working, using her own strength. She opens a small eatery, “Yugao,” in a corner of Tenjin-ya, and with heartfelt hospitality, she satisfies the empty stomachs and lonely hearts of the spirits. Though she sometimes struggles, Aoi pushes forward and forges bonds with the residents of the Hidden Realm. The “promise” she made that day eventually transforms into a precious place where she belongs.

Having overcome the trials at Oriou-ya, an inn in the southern region, Aoi returns to Yugao. However, her peaceful days are short-lived. An unprecedented crisis is looming over Tenjin-ya. She has a place she wants to protect. She has friends who believe in her. Nurtured by numerous encounters and bonds, the story begins to move once again.
